Extreme weather in Germany is on the increase, often bringing with it sudden, torrential downpours. Sewage systems and other drainage systems are often overwhelmed by the masses of water, so that many residents have already had to deal with wet cellars or, in the worst case, flooded living and office spaces. A DEFLEX® stop log system is a quickly deployable solution for many areas in and around the house to keep the interior dry.
Stop logs are beams that lie on top of each other and can be used as mobile flood barriers. The DEFLEX® stop log system is made of aluminum, does not rust and can be assembled by one person in the event of an emergency.
Technical properties
The DEFLEX® stop log system is suitable for installation on or in the wall reveal. Mixed installation (one side on, the other side in the wall reveal) is also possible.
The DEFLEX® stop log system is made of aluminum, does not rust and is quick and easy to handle. The wall rails are permanently attached via an independent screw channel and are fitted with stainless steel base plates, which provide a large area for sealing the contact surface to the ground. A stepless and toothed mounting groove in the wall rails for the manually operated clamping levers ensures a secure hold. Wall rails have no internal seals - the side lip seals are pressed in on the water side after inserting the stop logs.
All components are made to measure and fitted with holes in the wall rails.
